Shaina (Owner/Tattoo Artist)

Hi! I’m Shaina (Shay-nah). I have been an artist since I can remember. As a kid I hoarded art supplies, made canvases out of cardboard, stole my mom’s magazines to cut apart and make collages. It was encouraged. Especially by my grandma, who taught me about “happy accidents“ and how to see and not see in order to bring a drawing to life. They gave me body art kits for Christmas. Big mistake guys! Look at me now. I started college as an art major. I have an AA in Digital Photography. After several years of part time work in piercing and tattooing I began working professionally at a tattoo studio in Roseville. I worked there for about five years before opening my own shop closer to my hometown.

Currently my favorite style of tattoo is neo-traditional. However, I enjoy tattooing anything rich in artistic elements (color, line, shape, form) or that presents a unique challenge. I also really enjoy using my own artwork to create original tattoos.
